The European Poker Tour is set to make a long-awaited return to Paris, with EPT Paris officially confirmed as the opening stop of the 2026 season. After a one-year hiatus caused by regulatory changes that led to the cancellation of the 2025 festival, PokerStars is bringing the tour back to the French capital in style.
Once again hosted at Le Palais des Congrès in partnership with Club Barrière Paris, EPT Paris has quickly earned a reputation as one of the tour’s premier destinations. Its central location, spacious tournament venue, and consistently strong fields across all buy-in levels make it a favorite among both recreational players and seasoned professionals. The 2026 edition will run from February 18 through March 1, featuring a packed schedule that blends PokerStars Open events with the traditional EPT heavyweights.
A Festival Packed With Variety
Action gets underway with the PokerStars Open segment, led by the €1,650 PokerStars Open Main Event, which offers multiple starting flights and a variety of structures to suit different playing styles. Supporting events include the PokerStars Open Cup, a €2,700 High Roller, and numerous qualifiers giving players affordable paths into flagship tournaments.
From February 23 onward, the spotlight shifts firmly to the EPT proper. The centerpiece is, as always, the €5,300 EPT Main Event, running through to the final day on March 1. With its deep structures and prestige, it remains one of the most coveted titles in European live poker.
High-stakes specialists won’t be short on options. The schedule includes the €100,000 EPT Super High Roller, the €10,300 EPT High Roller, and several €25,000 and €50,000 buy-in events across No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha. For players seeking a balance of value and excitement, the €3,250 EPT Mystery Bounty stands out, offering the chance to score life-changing bounties deep into the tournament.
Spin & Go Championship Live Returns
EPT Paris will also play host to the Spin & Go Championship Live, giving online Spin & Go grinders a unique opportunity to compete for a live title during the festival.
Qualification takes place online throughout January, with players earning leaderboard points in Spin & Go tournaments. The top 1,000 players advance to a freeroll on January 26, where nine Spin & Go Championship Live “Spin-Off” packages are up for grabs. Those finalists will compete in Paris on February 22, with the top nine advancing to the Championship itself, which begins the following day.
The Spin & Go Championship Live boasts a €315,000 guaranteed prize pool, including €150,000 reserved for the final table. Qualifiers also receive four nights of accommodation in Paris and €500 in travel expenses, adding even more appeal to the event.
A Fitting Start to the 2026 Season
With a comprehensive schedule, marquee tournaments at every buy-in level, and the unmistakable backdrop of Paris, EPT Paris looks set to deliver a memorable opening chapter to the 2026 European Poker Tour. Whether chasing an EPT title, a high-roller trophy, or a Spin & Go crown, players will find no shortage of opportunities when the cards go in the air this February.
